Inspiration for CCB started as a vision while at work; being a former athlete, wanting to find a gateway to continue to be involved with the game he fell in love with. Wanting to change the dynamic for his own children and educate other youth and their families to possibilities they don't know are available. This organization serves as a platform allowing Hubert to share his knowledge and experiences with not only his sons but the youth in the community as well.
The vision for this program is to instill the proper tools our youth can use allowing them to be successful in society, not only as exceptional athletes but exceptional human beings as well. Being a coach and serving as a mentor allows Hubert to bring this vision into fruition.
CCB has provided Hubert with a different purpose. Mentoring has rejuvenated his spirit. With every child that comes through our program he learn more about himself. Working tirelessly to help guide them on a path they see themselves traveling. CCB has been life changing for Hubert and his hope is that the organization has the same effect on everyone student athlete that comes through our doors.
One thing he feels the majority of the youth will take away from being a part of the organization is, his passion. He love what he does and it shows even before stepping foot onto the court.
Eugene Frye Jr is a proud father of three young men, Anthony, Jayden, and Jordan. He has been married since September 2013. He was a proud student-athlete in high school and played club basketball for Virginia Commonwealth University. He takes the term student-athlete and wears it proud! In high school, he played as a quarterback and point guard, which are both leadership positions on the field and on the court. One thing he has learned since graduating from VCU in 2009, is that life is a sport. It takes leadership skills, endurance, strength, and executing an excellent game plan to excel. What he brings to our organization is leadership and all the other intangibles. His goal is for every camper to succeed on and off the court!

Christopher is excited to bring his talents and experience to Champion’s Circle Basketball in a continuing effort to positively affect and influence the lives of the area’s youth, OUR Future.
Tinika Baylor handles all financial activities for CCB and assists with coaching and mentoring. Tinika is a graduate of the University of Virginia. Prior to attending UVA, she attended Caroline County High School and was a scholar athlete. Tinika played basketball, softball and track for Caroline. She was inspired to join CCB by the dedication of the coaches to take time from their everyday lives to help shape and mold the minds of the young men that are a part of CCB. Our greatest gift in life is to give back. Their dedication forced her to ask herself what is she doing? Before CCB, she volunteered at Parks and Recreation in Caroline County and with her local church community. CCB gave her a platform to do more. Tinika would like to see each young King and Queen set goals that are either on or off the court and work to accomplish those goals. Nothing is too big or too small. The path to greatness is paved with successes and failures, these young men and women need to learn how to navigate through each. Our role as coaches and mentors is to make sure we guide them.
